CloudRent.ai serves as a digital bridge between Tenants and Landlords. We provide the infrastructure to secure and automate rental payments. It is important to note that CloudRent.ai is not a property manager, real estate agent, or landlord.Non-Refundable Service Fees
CloudRent.ai deducts a service commission for every transaction processed. This fee covers:
Secure payment gateway processing fees.
AI-driven financial tracking and automated receipting.
Instant SMS/Email notifications to all parties.
Commission fees are strictly non-refundable once a transaction is initiated by the Tenant, regardless of whether the rent is later refunded by the Landlord.
Disbursement & Refund Windows
The window for stopping a payment is extremely narrow due to our automated "Fast-Transfer" protocols.
Tenant Error: If a Tenant makes an error in payment amount, they must notify CloudRent.ai via WhatsApp at +60173785016 within 12 hours. If the funds have already been cleared to the Landlord, CloudRent.ai cannot recover them.
Landlord Refunds: If a Landlord wishes to refund a Tenant after disbursement, they must do so independently of the platform. CloudRent.ai will not be liable for funds once they have successfully exited our ecosystem into the Landlord’s designated bank account.
Security Deposits
Deposits are held as per the local jurisdictional laws. CloudRent.ai only triggers deposit releases upon verified digital authorization from the Landlord or a court order.Late Payments
Late fees may be automatically applied if configured in the digital lease. These fees are treated as additional rent and follow the same non-refundable commission structure.Disputes & Chargebacks
In the event of a credit card chargeback or bank reversal:
CloudRent.ai will provide the financial institution with all transaction logs and the signed digital lease as evidence.
If a chargeback is successfully claimed by a Tenant, the Landlord agrees to indemnify CloudRent.ai for the reversed amount and any associated banking penalties.
